Location: Secluded Grove
Herbs: Medicinal
When the opening film ends, you’ll become the main character (whom you chose when you decided to begin the game from scratch).
The nearby barrels are tossed around to find the possibility of a medicinal Herb. Throwing out pots and barrels is a typical method to locate objects in the game, so you’ll need to be familiar with it right now.
Talk with King Trode (the green squat creature) should you wish to. He doesn’t seem to have anything to say at present but that could change whether you like it or not.
Speak about Yangus (the squat thieves) to proceed. Soon you’ll be in an easy fight with couple of Slimes.
It’s impossible to lose this battle It’s there to show you to take part in the game. The commands are generally self-explanatory (attack defense, attack, escape spells, items and abilities do exactly what you’d think). It is possible to speed up battles through your main menu for battle, alter the AI tactics your team members employ, and even try to intimidate your opponents to flee.
For the individual character the only secret command could be Psyche Up which boosts your Tension, and allows you to deal more damage.
You can currently create up to 50 Tension at a time, which can effectively quadruple the damage output (at the expense of not doing anything for the 3 turns). Tension is a simple game in a nutshell it can be extremely beneficial against enemies with an extremely high defense.
When you’ve won the battle and won, the game will go some time after which you’ll arrive in Farebury. Speak to Yangus at this point, and it’s time to begin.

Be aware that you can receive information from fellow group members at any point when you press the Y. This is usually just amusing extra dialogue and is not necessary.
Don’t be overwhelmed by the long list of things lying around the town. The majority are in pots, barrels dressers as well as hanging containers.
The goal of your current search is to discover what’s happened to Rylus who is a mage that lives in the town. It is also possible to find items as you search for Rylus.
If you’re just looking to get to the end of the story take a look at this paragraph. You will find 4G in a barrel close to the inn. In the inn, look through the various dressers, bags and the chest on the upper floor. You will discover items like Holy Water, Plain Clothes Chimaera Wing, Cypress Stick, Antidotal Herb and the Medicinal Herb.
You can enter the inn through the back entrance and you’ll discover 3G in a bag just behind the counter. There’s also the very first Golden Slime back here, but it’s not going to be popular for quite a while Take a picture of it using START to be ahead on it later.
There’s a house just from the stall at the armour shop that has 5G as well as the Antidotal herb inside. From the outside of the stairs leading to the house you’ll see an unopened pot containing the medicinal Herb in the back of the pub.
Within the alleys behind in front of the bar you will find an unmarked well. Inside this well is an unlocked chest that contains an Leather Shield. The house just a few feet from the well contains eight g and plain Clothes inside (the one near that well currently is closed).
The house adjacent to the shop for weapons has twenty grams inside one cabinet. The next stop is just behind the church! In the back, you can discover the Seed of Defence. Within the church, you can discover an medicinal Herb as well as a the Pot Lid.
The wall to the left of the bridge in the middle of the southern part of the house, you’ll discover barrels that contain two grams and the medicinal herb. Then, last but not least you can enter through the back door to the pub to purchase $10G in the barrel. Once that’s done it’s time to begin the story.
Enter the bar (there’s an Antidotal Herb in a barrel close to the door) and then approach the man who has long black hair in the bar.
Talk to him following the short story’s short story. Then, return to the square in Farebury where Trode is waiting for you.
After a few scenes from the story the next stop is the house located in the northwestern part of town, near the well. Explore inside and look through the cupboards to find 4G and the pot to make a medicinal herb. There is 7G inside a barrel as well.
Contact Valentina to carry on the plot. Take off and leave town. The story will continue. Then leave town again and the adventure begins properly! (Note you’ll find that Thief’s Key Ingredient is found in The bell tower at the Church in the evening. It isn’t revealed until this far into the story.)
Region: Farebury Region
Items include: Seed of Life, Boxer Shorts and 82G.
Blue Chests 5
Monsters Slime, Candy Cat, Capsichum, Bunicorn, Satyr, Firespirit, Lips, Dracky, Bubble Slime, Dancing Devil, Beetle Boy
Once you’re located on the globe and you’re free to fight as well as explore and find treasures in the way you want. The monsters in this version of the game can be seen throughout the map of the world, which means you are able to avoid or fight according to your own preferences.
It is possible to stop the enemy that is currently chasing at you from fighting you by examining your Battle Records; this resets the battles in close proximity. Beware of enemies with crossed swords on its head as a matter of course for the time being; they’re hard to defeat and will appear in the near future.
I’ll provide a suggested level for any area that goes beyond this point to give you an ideas of what level gives you the best chance of winning against the types of enemies you’ll face at this stage. From the point of level 4 you’ll be able earning Skills points (SP) to purchase skills trees.
There are a variety of options to take in this, but I’ll help you find the best route to deal with the damage and earning the experience. For starters, you should get heroes’ Courage as high as 8 and then concentrate on Spears.
Yangus should be able to get Humanity at 16 after which you should focus on Axes. After that is done we can begin to hunt for treasures!
The latest addition in DQ8 for the 3DS Version of DQ8 are blue chests that respawn every day at midnight, following an arbitrary point in the story. This is the time of midnight according to your 3DS internal clock, but remember but not the in-game clock.
These chests are scattered across the globe, and they contain various loot items that are categorized according to the chest’s “quality”. The five chests in Farebury are of low quality, however they could provide you with a huge advantage over the initial difficulty when you find these chests.
They are located slightly to the southwest, a bit further south than town. and a little more south and in a corner from town’s east, as well as further southwest of town in the vicinity of in the Waterfall Cave. There are more traditional treasure chests, including an Seed of Life (north of town), Boxer Shorts (far west of town) as well as the 82G (far west and little further south of town).
It is important to note that if intend to build useful equipment in the future, it is recommended to keep at least two or three of the seeds you come across before making use of them. If you don’t, you can feed the seeds to your group to boost their numbers.
When you’re feeling well and prepared go towards The Waterfall Cave. The cave is easily accessible just a few miles south-by-southwest of town. There is a hut at the at the top of the waterfall which is worth a visit but not necessarily.
Location: Waterfall Hut
Items include: The Seed of Agility, Holy Water, Tool Bag Plain Cheese 8
Grab your seed of inspiration as well as Holy Water from the walls’ bags Then, talk to the man inside the cabin. This is the first quest that you’ll encounter, which is fairly simple. Go to the easternmost portion of the zone towards the one crimson tree, then grab an empty Tools Bag that’s lying there.
Return it to the man in the hut, and you’ll be able to find 8 plain Cheese. He will explain an interesting mechanism once you’ve finished it for him: you could make the hero eat his mouse Munchie cheese, allowing him to be able to breathe different attack and defensive capabilities during the battle.
Once you’ve finished then head to the bottom of the mountain to enter Waterfall Cave. Waterfall Cave. It is possible to purchase higher quality equipment before going into the cave, of course. A Boomerang for your hero is highly advised.
The location: Waterfall Cave (Recommended Level 5)
Items 100G Chimaera Wing, Medicinal Herb, Leather Hat, Copper Sword, Crystal Ball
Monsters: Slime, Dancing Devil, Dracky, Mischievous Mole, Mecha-Mynah, Bubble Slime, Firespirit, Skipper
It’s the very first level in The game. It’s fairly simple. Take the straight route until the split, and then open the chest to gain $100. From there, turn the right fork to get to a watery zone (the left fork doesn’t have anything to do with it).
There’s a chest in this area with the Chimaera Wing. Just a bit further north are two chests that have an medicinal Herb as well as a Leather Hat inside the chests. The junction of these two paths is only a few steps from the area, and a vendor there will inform you of an unidentified monster that is blocking the way ahead.
Follow the steps down to the next floor, and at the end of the second room, you’ll find the presumed threat. Talk to this beast (a Hammerhood) and tell it that you’re prepared to take it on to force it to stop fighting you.
If you’re really determined to take on it, say No or speak to it again after having said Yes. It’s not a particularly strong opponent however it could be psyched to do additional damage, so be prepared to fight and take care to heal. In any case, go towards the front and turn right at the crossroads.
Take the stairs up and pick up the Copper Sword, and then go back to the junction below , and proceed to the lower level. Straight from here up to where the boss is. Check the orb floating and confirm the answer twice. You might want to choose to save an Quick Save from the Misc. menu prior to doing so however, in the case.
BOSS: Geyzer
173 HP. Experience Drops 162 gold, 173 HP Seed of Strength
Attacks The Attacks: Mist (curse to everyone), Sizz (7-12 damage to all) Attack (10-22 damage)
As the boss who is the very first in this game Geyzer can be considered to not very difficult to defeat. Geyzer does introduce players to one of the most important aspects of the game’s hero Geyzer is invincible to the curse! So, the hero is expected to carry much of the fight by himself. Make sure you have Medicinal Herbs for both Yangus as well as Yangus however, because the fight can last a very long duration. However, it could also be extremely fast. The best strategy is to make the hero Psyche at least 50, and then strike to get Geyzer down in two solid strikes. It could take a while because he’ll have to administer Medicinal Herbs on Yangus as well as Yangus throughout the fight forward. It’s not going to be a difficult fight.
When the battle is finished the brief story is set, and you be awarded an item called the Crystal Ball. Return to the Kalderasha’s home in Farebury (you can learn Evac at the level 6 which can be useful in escaping Waterfall Cave quickly). Waterfall Cave quickly) and contact Kalderasha to get the story moving. Go downstairs for the next scene in the story, and then out of town. Then, head to the new region!

You are now able to pass by the checkpoint in southern direction, which leads to Alexandria. On each side of this checkpoint, there are chests, one of which is one in blue, one with the Slime Earrings. There’s Alexandria right down the road which is almost impossible to miss but make sure to look towards the east first to pay 10G along the edge of the cliff.
It’s also possible to walk towards the tower as you’re there to add it added to your list of Zoom locations too. If you’re interested to, you could go south towards Port Prospect, and pick other goodies along the route. There’s a blue treasure chest on the southern beach and an seed of strength on the other side of the beach, and a third blue chest located on the north side of the road that leads to port.
There’s nothing to explore at the moment in Port Prospect just yet besides purchasing equipment and gathering things (listed in the future when you’re scheduled to visit) So, once you’re done, you can go to Alexandria.

You’ll be welcomed with an armed battle the moment you step foot into the town. This is a sign of hospitality! It’s a good thing that infanticide isn’t likely to make your list of raps anytime very soon, and you’ll never necessarily have to battle Bangerz and Mash The battle will end at the moment you input any command.
You are free to upgrade your gear at stores (a Scale Shield and some Scale Armour at least are suggested) and then go to the house that is located to the south, and you will discover an medicinal herb along with 11G. You can cross the stream and break the pots before you to obtain the Holy Water. In the house that pots are back, and you’ll find an Chimaera Wing in the cabinet.
The next stop will be the Albert mansion and is only accessible at night; you can stay in the hotel or fight outside the town for a while to alter the timing of the morning if you want to. Take a left at the door, and then walk into the kitchen, where you’ll find 5G as well as some plain Cheese within a couple of pots. Return to the foyer , and take a trip upstairs, and you’ll be greeted by Bangerz and Mash once more guarding a doorway.
They’re not going to let you through however, so you can use the adjacent door. There’s a collection of Wayfarer’s Clothes inside the cabinet, as well as a treasure trove of the Seed of Magic, 18G, and the moonwort bulb in pots and barrels upstairs.
Speak to the maid to get a clue on the next step. This is to examine the mouse hole , and get control over Munchie! Take the stairs down and then up the broom handle to the desk.
You can then pick up Jessica’s letter there. It’s time to go back upstairs , and back to that mouse’s hole (you can also climb the bezel next to the staircase to return upstairs). Bring the letter into Bangerz along with Mash and then talk to them two times. After a few more stories then it’s off towards Tower of Alexandra! Tower of Alexandra!
The location is Tower of Alexandra (Recommended Level 7)
Items like 200G, the Seed of Agility Moonwort Bulb 11G, Herbal Medicinal the Seed of Strength Herb for Medicinal Use, Antidotal Herb, Scale Shield
Monsters Frogface, Imp, Funghoul Beetle Boy, Healslime, Drackmage, Bubble Slime
Find the entrance to the tower and converse with Bangerz for further instructions. There’s only one way to get there (the entrance for the tower with the lower one is closed) go inside. It’s important to Build up Tension a amount before hitting large numbers of Frogfaces using an e-bomb, since they are extremely risky if you allow them to shoot their backs at you.
This is more likely to result in killed here than any else! There’s nothing to be found to be found in the chamber that’s first. So go into the courtyard. Just in the front in front of you lies a chest that has 200G inside.
There’s nothing else in this area, climb to the top of the stairs and go through the exit to the right. The door can be opened this way for a quick access to the main entrance (which is a great idea in the future, I promise).
You can descend the ladder to discover an Seed of Agility, Moonwort Bulb, 22G, 11G and an medicinal Herb inside a chest, as well as several barrels. The ladder is climbed again before climbing the next ladder to another entrance to the outside. From here, you can enter your main structure. Although it appears to be an end-all-is-in-all-is however, it’s actually not!
Take a look at the blue angry-face circle on the walls to turn 180 degrees before continuing your climb to the top of the tower. The next floor is where you choose the wall closest to you and discover the The Seed of Strength as well as seven g in two pots.
There’s nothing on the upstairs side, so turn around and follow the route to the stairs to the opposite end instead. Smash the barrels to make the possibility of a medicinal Herb prior to taking this stairs up. Use the spinning wall as a short way to get to the next step up. This is where you can take the linear path and then flip the wall in order to obtain the antidotal Herb as well as a the Scale Shield from the chest and a pot, respectively.
Straight towards the top from here, and there are additional story-related scenes, go to the statue. I recommend that you take pictures of it while there at all times; it’ll make it easier to return to the top in the future. Take a break and walk towards Alexandria.

New Items Jessica’s Outfit
The only thing you need to do is to talk to Bangerz once more (he’s at the front of the hotel) and stay in the inn, and then go to Jessica as well as her mom in the Albert mansion. Enter Jessica’s room from here. You’ll find Jessica’s Outfit in an upstairs cabinet in her bedroom, as well the elusive Alexandria’s Golden Slime for photographing. After everything is done and put away, it’s the time to get huffing it up and head to Port Prospect.

Once you’re in the town, make sure to go towards the fountain to view an image of the gorgeous man there. You can answer as you wish the conversation, and he’ll give you instructions on how to use the camera in any way.
Photograph the guy, and then call him once more. You now have access to Cameron’s Codex which is a side quest that involves recording various objects throughout your journey, and then telling him about them to earn rewards. There are more information about this adventure in the pertinent area within this manual.
It’s worth the effort and you’ll receive the three first rewards straight now. After that, you can take into consideration, go through an assortment of pots and barrels at the town’s entrance to discover an Chimaera Wing, Medicinal Herb and the Seed of Wisdom. Enter the inn and search its dresser for Holy Water.
There’s also an Golden Slime in here if you’d like to snap pictures of it today Many of Cameron’s tasks require snapping photos of each and every one of these little items. There’s nothing like slime in the well arguing with the next boss. So instead you must remove the barrels from close to the stalls of the shop to purchase seventeen grams.
Enter the lighthouse right now. Jessica is waiting to greet you at the very end. Go ahead and meet her. Make sure to save your quick before talking to her afterwards, however you must do this, as it will trigger the sequence of events that will lead to the next boss fight.
I would suggest having the Iron Lance and Stone Axe fitted for the protagonist as well as Yangus respectively, as well as the most effective armor for both.
BOSS Khalamari (Recommended Level 10)
HP: 360, 311 experience, 345 gold
attacks: Flame Breath (30-40 damages to everyone) Snipe (14-16 damage to everyone) Slap on the tentacle (20-24 injury to only one)
Khalamari is a remarkably cheap boss, and is far more tough than Geyzer due to his effective attacks. Be prepared to defend in the first round because he’s nearly always opening with his wildly powerful Flame Breath. It is important to have an adequate weapon on both your allies, and an adequate supply of Medicinal Herbs.
Tension can aid in the hero’s attack, but only a tiny bit. Two 50-Tension attacks should take Khalamari off. If Yangus has a Helm Splitter, take a few of them off immediately to make Yangus’ high-tension strikes more painful.
In case of injury, you must immediately treat it in the event that your HP falls below 35. Continue to keep up with the constant assault and you’ll prevail eventually. It is also possible to go with the “strategic” option of defending every six turns in order to mitigate attacks with Flame Breath attacks, but from my experience, this isn’t a good idea because he doesn’t always make use of Flame Breath every 6 turns (sometimes the character uses it only at times every 5 minutes, sometimes each 7).
A fight that is not at the level of 10 will result in an average of a wipe often, according to my experience, as the hero isn’t strong enough to withstand a Flame Breath after any type of attack (and Khalamari will get a turn ahead of the hero often, which means his death). In the end the case, I’d estimate the chances of winning at 75% at level 10 at the very least. I’ll say it again: Khalamari is severely cheap.
After the battle, the story unfolds, and you receive an gold bracer. Talk to Jessica for a second time to get another party member and then sail.
Jessica is, in fact, best if you invest her ability to use Staves. The Sex Appeal makes a nice backup, and so does Whips. Fisticuffs can be a potent ability to master their abilities, but it’s just not worthwhile to aim at them early. Shortswords are also a useful ability that is tied to them in the aftermath of a game however, since they’re still quite a ways away it’s safe to ignore these for the time being.

Things: Medical Herb Seed of Life Seed of Agility Antidotal Herb Pot Lid 12G, Medicinal herb, 10G Bronze Knife
After a good read you can go exploring the boat and find treasure. In the cabin, there’s the following items: Medicinal Herb of Life, the Seed of Life, Seed of Agility and the Antidotal Herb, Pot Lid, 12G, and a different Medicinal Herb in the many barrels and pots that are scattered around the upper level.
Then there’s 10-G within a pot down the hall and there’s a bronze Knife inside the chest of the captain’s quarters. Speak to Trode to restart the plot and also to get an Alchemy Pot. The Alchemy Pot is a wonderful invention that allows you to combine different elements to create new products. Find out more details about it in the relevant part within this manual. The first 5 strong antidotes (Antidotal Herb + Medicinal Herb) will be sold for 60G each, your subsequent five will each cost 42G, and the rest of them will be sold at 18G (no profits). The initial 5 special antidotes (Strong Antidote and Strong) will be sold for 90G, the 5 next ones will be sold for the same amount, and the next ones will be sold for 36G (no gain).
With the capital, you could now create some excellent tools for this purpose. An assortment of farmer’s scythes can cook to create an excellent Iron Axe, a Scale Shield and Jessica’s Leather Whip can be combined to create the Snakeskin Whip, you can make Bronze Shields with a Leather Shield and a Bronze Knife, you can create Bronze Armour with Chain Mail and the Bronze Shield, and you can make Feathered Caps by mixing Chimaera wings with Leather Hats. After you’re done, head out on the map of the world and proceed. After that, immediately Zoom down to Farebury.

Strength. Once you’ve got all your supplies up, you’re ready to go into Maella Abbey, which is just to the south from Peregrin Quay.
Location: Maella Abbey
Items: Mini Medal #4, Holy Water
You can save yourself by contacting the priest outside of the Abbey. Enter the Abbey. It’s not much to see in this space and you can head to the courtyard’s central area and then use the side doors to head out.
There’s Mini Medal #4 in a pot and also a phial filled with Holy Water inside the barrel. Speak to one of the Templars at the end of the courtyard’s outdoor area for a short scene. There’s nothing more to do at this point and so you can take the next way out of Maella Abbey to continue onward.
Location: Maella Region
Items such as Bunny Tail, Chain Mail
Blue Chests 2
Monsters Chainine, Jargon, Giant Moth, Lump Mage, She-Slime and Bullfinch. Morphean Mushroom, Night Sneaker, Mummy Boy, Fly Guy, Slime Knight, Healslime
There’s a good portion in the globe map accessible currently however, we’ll stay near to Maella Abbey for the time being. Technically, you can complete the whole next section of the guide before proceeding with the narrative about Maella Abbey, in fact! However, there’s no point to do this, as you’ll gain a new party member once you’ve completed this Maella Abbey sequence.
I’ll guess that you’ll remain with the current chapter. There’s a blue chest east of the point where you begin out in the section, and to the south is a locked chest that has the bunny Tail inside. You can pair this with Jessica’s Hairband for an even better Bunny Ears headgear for her.
There’s a blue chest just located a bit to the east of this near an elevated area on the northern banks of the river and further east of the river’s bank is a treasure chest that has chain Mail inside. If we go any further east, we’ll be in an area known as the Ascantha region (which is totally possible to explore right now if wish; there’s nothing stopping anyone from exploring at this moment) Let’s take it to the west, and then back to the town of Simpleton located just south of Maella Abbey.

Check the shops If you’re interested (the two guys on the tables upstairs) and then speak with the red-headed guy in the downstairs room to carry on the tale. Return for Maella Abbey.
Location: Maella Abbey
New Items: Mini Medal #6, 26G
After you’ve got your Ring of the Templar, it’s time to access the Templar’s halls. There’s Mini Medal #6 in the kitchen to the left along with a Golden Slime hidden in a corner by a statue in the upstairs area along with 26G inside a barrel towards the north.
Take a walk down the stairs and enter through the door that is located at the end of the hallway. When you step into the room that lies beyond, the story begins. Contact the guards at the bridge in the north outdoor area, and then walk back to the abbey. As you continue walking forward, you’ll start the next story sequence.
The next target is the Ruined Abbey. According to what Angelo stated, you have to go to the exit of Maella Abbey that leads towards Simpleton However, you should instead, you should follow the river east until you arrive at your destination.
The Ruined Abbey is located in the area.

Monsters Mummy Boy, Skeleton, Fly Guy, Bag of Laughs Drackyma, Metal Slime, Walking Corpse
Check out the plaque in the vicinity and put the Templar’s ring on the plaque. Proceed to walk down the steps. The first chest that is located in the alcove on the east is an Cannibox which is locked, and the one to the right is locked and has 300G.
The right-hand alcove contains an important iron Nail that can be coupled with an Boomerang to create a useful reinforced Boomerang. Go up the ladder and then go towards at the far end, where you will find mini Medal 7 in the pot. In a chest that is locked in the room to the left of this hallway is an Bronze Shield. Through the door, go down the hall, then down the stairs and into a deadly pit.
It is possible to use the debris in the pit to make it through unharmed. Keep going, and look through the two rooms to see if you have 50G, Waterweed Mould as well as the Mini Medal 8. Inside the chamber, you will find the zombie priest make a turn and inspect the cabinet in the next room for an Bandit’s grass Skirt. Talk to (or try to get past) this zombie priest to begin the next boss battle.
BOSS: Tortured Soul (recommended level 13)
580 HP at 425 HP. experiences 300 gold drops Gold Rosary
Attacks include: Strike (20-25 damaging), Sizzle (20-30 damage to all) and summon Allies (Skeleton and the Walking Corpse make an appearance)
This boss could be an opportunity to get a wake-up signal if you’ve been trying to avoid combat until this point. It’s not as inexpensive as Khalamari was however he’s extremely dangerous. It is best to focus upon psyching yourself up to the highest level much as you can, healing yourself with powerful Medicines when needed and unleashing the death incarnate on the boss.
When he calls for minions avoid them. He’ll summon additional ones if you eliminate them. After the Tortured Soul has been destroyed the minions don’t any threat to you.
After the battle after the fight, you’re able to heal fully. Take the remaining short route to the ladder that leads back towards Maella Abbey.
Location: Maella Abbey
New Items: Mini Medal #9
The first step is to break up the nearby barrels to earn the Mini Medal number 9. Then , you can walk straight through the Abbot’s detention area upstairs (you could get recipes for alchemy from his bookshelves on the lower level in case you’d like).
You can then talk with the Abbot. After a brief conversation you’ll find yourself in the underground dungeon. Chat with your friends and then head towards the middle inside the prison to proceed. When you are able to control yourself you can examine for the presence of an iron maiden. Go back to the abbey, and then to the abbot’s residence.
Speak to Angelo or attempt to get upstairs to get the story moving. After the story’s sequence you’ll be inside The Templar’s Quarters.
Go to Marcello in his office near by for further instructions (his guards will change positions when you speak with them). Go back to the main entrance to the abbey, and Angelo is going to join you finally! The focus of his character is Swords and Charisma, although you can find some effective spells using his Staves as well.

Now since Angelo is a part of the group It’s time to travel to Ascantha! Travel to the east of Simpleton until you arrive at an unassuming riverside chapel and house. The first cow is also there; the cows around the globe offer fresh Milk each day if you speak to them. There’s a chest that is locked with an amount of 230G in the north-northwest corner of these two buildings. We’ll talk about these two structures.
Location: Riverside Chapel/Riverside House
Things: Mini Medal #10, Silk Robe Seed of Magic
Inn: 10G
You are able to stay at the chapel at no cost tonight and you could consider doing so. This gives you an additional story arc if you choose to it, which is a very nice. It’s possible to find Mini Medal #10 inside the home inside a barrel as well as a silk Robe inside the cabinet. There’s also a Seed of Magic in the cabinet in the church. Apart from that, there’s not much other to do in these two places… as of now.
Returning to the road along the west bank of the river turn further south until you come across an old chest that has the seed of Life in it. You can traverse the river. Along the road there is a chest of blue and just to the south of the road, at the bend leading towards the castle at Ascantha there is a blue treasure chest. Keep heading east from there and you’ll come across an unlocked chest that has an Seed of Defence inside. Take a turn toward Ascantha however, veer off towards the east of the castle to locate the chest with the number 154G inside. You can now access Ascantha properly.

It is possible to take it to a person in the Farebury’s Inn in the evening for the Seed of Wisdom however, only for a short time and take your time as you think about it! The closest house to the well is home to Rennet Powder as well as Mini Medal #11 inside it.
The church contains a number of recipes for alchemy in it however, again it isn’t necessary to create what those recipes were designed for you, so please take them off the list. Another house close to the church is home to basic Clothes in an unfinished cabinet.
The only thing that the inn has is the Golden Slime to photograph. It’s time to go through the castle. Go through the leftmost door, and take the Mini Medal #12 from the cabinet next to it along with 42G from the cabinet that is next to it.
Go upstairs now (using the internal staircases, the external ones provide an opportunity for photos) and look around the floor for the red Mould in barrels as well as a medicinal Herb in the pot. Head to the next floor and look in the minister’s quarters to find mini Medal #13 inside his cabinet (and the Golden Slime on the shelves).
This is all there is to search for, but the final photo opportunity for the town is at the top of the building. To move the plot forward the only thing you need to do is speak to the king during the night (he’s in the throne’s room crying) and then go down.
When Emma speaks to you, head back and return towards your Riverside Chapel and talk to the elderly lady who lives who lives next to the chapel. She will guide you to the right track. All you need do from there is walk down to the beach in the vicinity and then walk straight until Wisher’s Peak.
Location The location is Wisher’s Peak.
Things: Wizard’s Staff, 500G, The Templar’s Shield
Monsters: Walking Corpse, Mummy Boy, Fat Bat, Hell Hornet, Treeface, Bodkin Archer, Diemon
The cave is quite simple. Explore the cave system and follow the straight line to locate an Wizard’s Staff. Find the right fork and proceed up the stairs. There’s nothing left at the end of the lower trail which is why you must take the narrow pathway instead.
The cave in the vicinity contains 500G inside, as well as there’s a shortcut into the hill. From there, you can cross the bridge and continue upwards, taking a side-path towards a Temple’s Shield before heading to the main path that leads to the top.
Once you are at the top it is a matter of having to wait for a few minutes before the plot will begin to take over. Look at the shadows on the wall when you’re able. This is a bit bizarre! Enter the structure, and speak with the stranger inside. After a short conversation, you can go out of the Moonshadow Realm and you’ll get returned to Ascantha’s castle.
Head upstairs into the throne’s room for further details. Once that’s finished take a walk back to the map of the world. If you’ve completed your Maella Abbey sequence, a story sequence will be played out and the next location will be determined: Pickham. The entrance for Pickham is located in the region of Ascantha. Pickham region is to the to the south of Ascantha. (Note it is important to note that even if did not get involved with Angelo prior to this particular sequence, then you’ll need to do so at this moment.
The plot can’t be continued until you have however, you may be able to go to the Pickham region earlier than this point.)

Monsters: Hood, Gorerilla, Clockwork Cuckoo, Minidemon, Berserker, Capsichum, Treeface, Chimaera, Night Fencer, Witch, Hipster
There’s an inn that’s located close to the Pickham region that is a nice place to stay. After you’ve passed the gateway archway, turn off the path towards the east to find a blue box in the middle of a building that looks odd. Talk to the person on the top of the structure, then leave him and return to him when he welcomes you with the three Morrie’s Memos.
If you’re looking to begin working on them, Lonely Joe is along the road leading towards The Ruined Abbey, and Squiggles is situated south of the lake close by. After that, go straight west for a few minutes to find a chest containing the sum of 450G located in an alcove in the edge of an elevated plateau.
Go south, then west-to-east on a plateau to locate another chest that is locked that contains an the Leather Whip. The next stop is east and to the north, right next to an unnamed lake (we’ll be there sooner or later) and there’s a blue chest. To the north, on the northern side of the east swamp of the part of the region that is rocky, there’s an unlocked chest that has an Farmers Scythe inside.
From as far west as you can go along a narrow channel that faces the sea, lies a chest that contains the Iron Shield in it. It’s actually necessary to go a little south, then loop back along the coast to get there. That will be enough to take to take care of the various loot scattered throughout the region so you can travel towards Pickham located in the northeast of the region.

It’s a shady town, in case you were not aware. If you’re looking to test your luck at gambling at the casino the best odds are using the Bingo game. It can help you create an alchemically-sound kit If you choose to (Wizard Staff + Rune Staff for Staff of Antimagic, Iron Shield + Silver Platter for White Shield, and Bandana and Agility Ring to match Mercury’s Bandana).
So let’s look for the treasure! The first step is to look around the building at the west side of town to find the bunny Tail as well as Rennet Powder along with 12G. It is possible to ignore the bully who is demanding money to cross the central avenue. You are able to get there without having to pay him taking the long route.
In the building that is long close to the bully and the aforementioned chain mail, you’ll find chain Mail inside a cupboard (and it’s the Gold of town Slime placed on a shelf far from that cabinet). Inside the residential complex that lies to the northeast, you will find the Seed of Life and Holy Water. Go down the well and smash some pots to get an oblique that contains amor seco essence along with mini Medal #14. The bags found in the shop will contain Mini Medal #15.
Go to the bar on the northern part of town, and take out several barrels for fresh milk. The next step is to enter the inn and walk up to the upper floor to purchase 35G in a cabinet. Take a walk up the roof and find red Mould inside the barrel.
That’s all that’s needed in this region, so it’s time to go back to the street. There’s a pot that has an Cowpat across the central western alley. In the housing unit, not far away, is a barrel that contains the Mini Medal #16 and an item bag that has an seeds of power inside. The house to the south of the farthest northeast house is home to the Magic Water in the cabinet.
The cupboard contains the number 26G within a container that’s located down the east alleyway. There’s Waterweed Mould in the barrel of the bar close by. The bar’s roof has boxer shorts in bags. Mini Medal #17 is in a pot located at the bottom of the roof’s path. The goal (at at least for the moment) is located just below the stairs of the roof. Enter the room following the short narrative, and look around the back room for the Seed of Wisdom and 30G.
It’s back to the northern bar! After a brief scene there, return to the storeroom in the southeast and confront the thief for a different story. Then, go to the bar on the south side of town and speak to the bartender to go in front of the counter.
There’s a cupboard with mini Medal #18 there as well as your conversation partner, Dodgy Dave. Contact Dodgy Dave and get things moving again. The next step is to get your horse to Red’s house located in the lake to the southwest of town.
The location: Red’s Place
Items: Mini Medal #19, Mini Medal #20, Hairband
The shed is nearby and you can look to find Mini Medal #19 inside the barrel. Speak to the guard at the door to gain access. There’s a bowl nearby that has Mini Medal #20 inside. There’s an hairband inside the cabinet within her bedroom.
Red’s golden Slime is right next to a shrub in one corner. Speak to Red right now. This scenario is a little more complicated if you’ve already took the Venus Tear in the Swordsman’s Labyrinth. If so you should try to get out of the house completely and then walk back to her and give her the tear. If not, she’ll tell you to go and collect your Venus’ Tear from the Swordsman’s Labyrinth. It’s located just north of her home So, shake a leg.
The location is Swordsman’s Labyrinth.
The items include: Cowpat, 1000G, 11G Mini Medal #21, Red Mould, 62G, Seed of Magic, Antidotal Herb Mini Medal #22, (Cannibox), Kitty Shield Mini Medal #23
Monsters Phantom Fencer, Goodybag, Restless Armour, Lost Soul, Mummy Boy, Mummy, Cannibox
As soon as you step inside there’s an enlightening story featuring Yangus. There’s nothing at the beginning floor, so go down the stairs and enter through the first doorway. Take the stairs down and take a couple of pots to create an Cowpat.
You can cross the poison swamp to get an item called a chest that costs 1,000G. Remain to the upstairs area and follow the trail, heading east until you reach the intersection with four ways. The leftmost door is the area that leads the room that is filled of treasure: 11G Mini Medal #21, Red Mould and 62G. Seed of Magic, Antidotal Herb as well as an unlocked chest that has Mini Medal #22 in it.
The rightmost entrance contains 2 chests. One one is a Cannibox with one that is that is locked, with the Kitty Shield in the. Go back to the intersection with four lanes and walk north. Don’t not go through the initial “door” in the sense that it will send you into the pit of poison the floor below, and cause you to go back. Instead, you should open the door down and proceed to the next level.
The northern pathway is another fake trap door that you must follow and move the statue away and proceed to another level. From here, follow the easterly path at the fork , and then break the pot to earn Mini Medal #23. Retrace your steps back to the path you took before, then take the other route by pushing the statue on the floor tile that is obvious to move the bridge to the side.
Continue on the linear route to the room near the end. In this room, you’ll need to hold L R and R together to enter free-look mode. Look upwards at the ceiling. Find the hole and then push the statues until they align with the hole. Stand on the tile beneath the hole and get to the top!
Take a look at the plaque next to you for a full healing. It’s straight into your chest, however it’s going to be simple. Quicksave, unlock the chest and prepare for a fight with a boss!
BOSS: The Trap Box (Recommended level 16)
1100 HP and 1020 exp, Gold 990 Drops Venus Tear
Attacks The most common attack is the regular one (25-30 damage) Critical hit (70-90 damage), Fuddle (confusion on one), Fizzle (block spell casting), Crackle (30-40 damage to all)
Trap Box isn’t a joke. He is able to destroy those who are weak to fight him. You must be fortunate in this fight, and not be slain by a bad sequence of turns. To achieve this, Acceleratle is a must. Tension can be extremely beneficial which is why it’s your main action when you’re not healing.
If you’re equipped with Multithrust, the hero with spears it can take off an impressive third to fifty percent of Trap Box’s HP in just one 50-Tension strike. The quicker you can finish this battle the more effective.
If you win the battle, and you arrived after the game instructed you to, there’ll be a short story in the event that the game takes note of to take the Venus’ Tear. In either case, you must make your way out, and then head towards Red’s home once more. Chat with her about an adventure story and then go back to her home to meet up with Medea finally.
Return to Pickham and explore the room beneath the stairs on the roof to meet Brains finally. Talk to the man to find out what to do next. When you are leaving town, make sure you to visit Dodgy Dave once more in the pub in the south. Dodgy Dave will ask you to give his special Medicine for 500G. This is quite bargain and you should take it.
Then he’ll request an enhanced Boomerang for 1200G and you could be able to do because you’ll need to offer him one at some point. An edged boomerang isn’t much less effective therefore why wouldn’t it be? The next thing he wants (a Ring of Immunity) is likely to take a while before you’re able to make it. Your next stop is to the north in Port Prospect!

Simply follow the road straight until you reach The Hilltop Hut. Before entering and into the well, you should jump in and examine the crown there. Choose Yes, and in a short time you’ll be able to have a useful slime Crown.
Go to the hut and enjoy some time to time out (4G). Trode will be in the process of making the Alchemy Pot over the next few stays in the inn and it’s well worth the price. It’s also possible to save here in case you want to, as well. the Mini Medal number 24 is located in the pot by the entrance. After that take a left from the hut and make towards the actual wastelands.
The destination is located in the northwest part of the wastelands. There is a locked chest that has the Sledgehammer to the top of the cliffs over. As you make your way to the vessel, there will be a short story before your next destination will be made clear: Trodain! The path to Trodain is simple enough to follow: just go to the northwest, and you’ll come across an entrance towards an entrance to the Trodain region. However, first, you must check the western cape for a chest that holds the Seed of Magic. Then , it’s off towards the cave as well as Trodain.

As you progress to the western coast to locate the locked chest, which has 630G behind the southern cliffs in the lowlands that lie near the water, as well as a chest that’s an Cannibox located on the northern cliff close to the water.
Follow the path until the entry point to Trodain Castle (you can locate Smiles the last monster needed for Morrie on this page; check out this section for more details). Make your way through the west-facing forest to find a blue chest. You can now access Trodain Castle.

Monsters: Rockbomb, Garuda, Hunter Mech, Dragonthorn, Wailin’ Weed, Infernal Armour, Cureslime, Liquid Metal Slime
Take a walk to the gate and look through the gate for a story. After you have regained control then head to the left side of the staircase and you will find 1500G in the chest. You can enter the castle from here. I recommend that you enter on the left-hand side first.
Personally, I’ve discovered that the area of the shop this is an excellent place to get Liquid Metal Slimes to spawn through standing at the left-hand corner of the room, and adjusting the camera from the upper left corner. It is possible to get ridiculous levels with using this feature. However, you must go through the southern door to find a chest that has the valuable Magic Key, a locked chest that has the Temple’s Sword as well as a few barrels, pots , and bags that contain Magic Beast Hide, Mini Medal #25 as well as a gold bracer inside the bags.
There’s nothing left towards the east, which is why you should go back to the central hallway and use the west door instead.
Go south along the corridor and then turn around and then enter the doorway towards the south (there’s no interesting things to see in the room in North). Go down the stairs to smash some pots to get the 46G. There’s nothing in the south hallway and you should instead take the narrow staircase to smash the barrel to get Mini Medal #26.
The area is finished which is why you should go back up and proceed towards the central lobby. This time, , go to the northeast of the lobby, and then go to the top of the stairs (again there is nothing within the adjacent room). The first floor has plenty of interesting things to see. If you’d like to go up the steps on the southern end to visit the sceptre’s room and watch a short story arc.
Go into the southwest room and go to the piano for a second story snippet. The room to the north is home to the Garter inside an cabinet. The cabinet is empty in the rooms to east take a walk to the northeast area. In the cabinet there’s Mini Medal #27. The next stop is the northwest room. Inside, there are barrels that are broken to get 29,00.
Take the balcony out, and go down the spiral staircase. Take it down until you reach the first floor. In the next room, discover Rock Salt in the pot.
You can’t move further into the room from here but. Enter the room for the throne (in the middle) and then check out the minister who sits on the throne for a hilarious small story. The room to the northwestern is home to pots that have waterweed mould inside, as well as several barrels that have 150G and Mini Medal #28.
Enter through the southernmost door to locate the library finally! There’s plenty of alchemy-related recipes to be found here as well as an unlockable door that leads to the courtyard and a story line when you enter to the central room.
The bookcase you’re looking to find is located in the southwest corner. Check it out to start the plot moving. Start your Moonshadow window and then go to the bookshop with Ishmari. Once you’ve finished the next stop is Ascantha and talk to the king and proceed through the tunnel into a new region on the map of the globe.
The location: Land of the Moles
Items like Seed of Life Mini Medal #29
Monsters Hawk Man, Mad Mole, Mars Rover, Chimaera
The way to get to the Mole’s Hole is easy, but you must first go to the locked chest within the area to find an Seed of Life. In close proximity to the Mole Hole in the northern portion there is a locked chest that has Mini Medal #29 inside. Then , it’s down to the Mole Hole!
Locality: Mole Hole
Items: 1500G Mini Medal #30, Seed of Defence Stone Hardhat

Then, you can proceed to the southern fork and then check the west side of the area to find 1500G. Begin to go down to level 2. In the corner of the room with a rough shape on this level, you’ll find two pots, which contain miniature Medal #30 as well as an The Seed of Defence.
There’s a chest that’s locked located in the southernmost area of this level, with the Stone Hardhat in it. There’s nothing to be found in the treasure chest So, head toward Don Mole on level 3 (he’s located in on the left side of the level) You can Quicksave, then converse with Don Mole to fight him (pick Yes for a funny small scene, however, you must choose No to begin your fight).
BOSS Don Mole, 4 Soul Moles (Recommended level 21)
1280 HP, 1160 experience, 540 gold, drops Elfin Elixir
Attacks Perform (confusion with all enemies and all allies) Normal attacks (35-50 damage) Ground Pound (45-60 damage to all allies)
Don Mole opens with his show, which is sure to be confusing for nearly all Soul Mole and maybe the rest of your guests If you’re not lucky. It is important to get clear of any unconfused Soul Moles as fast as possible, since they love to increase Tension and go harder.
Apart from that the game is a normal boss battle The basic strategy is to psyche up, Acceleratle, heal as needed, concentrate on the boss and do the job in the shortest time possible. Although Don Mole does eventually summon his Soul Mole minions to replace him but he does it infrequently that it’s unlikely to encounter any problems.
Following the battle, you’ll be able to get your Moonshadow Harp! You can now Evac out. After that we can go on a treasure-hunting, shall’s not we? Ishmari is welcome to stay for treasure to be discovered!
