Part 01: Arni Village (Home) – Chrono Cross-Wiki Guide –
Take advantage of all the excursions. Proceed straight to the rear in the area. You aim to switch off the gem and then move to the circular platform in the central part of the space. Transfer to the top platform for another FMV sequence.
Following the nightmare, Serge wakes up in his bedroom without the energy he felt during his time in the Tower. Pilfer his savings of 200G that are hidden under the mattress. Go to the left, and you’ll locate the Tablet Element. Get out of the room. Serge’s mother is adamant about his sleeping and the fact that Leena was to look for Serge. He was scheduled to meet her earlier that day.
Before you head away to meet your girl, leave the house after you leave your home. Chat with the fisherman in front of the swordfish and play along with his daily goals to get an unrestricted Komodo Scale. Go to the hut at the left of the village and speak to the lady who is old for tips on how to obtain the Kodomo pups. Go down to the basement to talk with the man who is there. He will offer you the Shark Tooth and an account of his life. Remember this.
Go to the hut beneath the one you were in, walk back to the house, and enter an area smaller than the one you were in. Check the bed and chest. The mattress will offer you an Hekran Bone, and the compartment will hold the Ivory Helmet. Chat with the woman wearing the red dress about poetry. If you speak to the barrel four times behind the girl, the barrel will offer you an element of Uplift. It is important to recall her later. Keep track of the kid in between the buildings. You can offer them a Komodo Scale from the swordfish person. Look over the cart in the middle to locate the Custom Frame.

Character Recruit – Poshul
When you’ve got your Hekran Bone in hand, stop at the clearing just to the right of the swordfish man and present the Bone to the dog with the pretty pink coat. For this to happen, you must open the window for key items by pressing Square, then choose the Hekran Bone. It would be best if you were within the range of a conversation.
Poshul will join your team, and you can invite her back. If you don’t take on Poshul right now, you’ll get one more possibility to obtain her second self later on, as well as Leena. Before you leave, go through the bucket in the hut to find an Aquabeam element, then go inside the place to locate the Cure element hidden behind the wall and scroll to the left.
Return to the main part of the village, and walk toward the Pier. Leena laments at you for not showing up on time and not keeping your word to find Kodomo Scales. Kodomo Scales to her. She requires 3 of these scales and giving her a few, which were handed to you, will be ineffective. She will know. Get out of the village.
Chrono Cross Walkthrough, Part Two: Lizard Rock
You can exit Arni Village via the southeast corner of the main screen, and you’ll be placed on the world map. It is possible to save the game to the world map and then, in the end, switch the players in your group. There are various areas right now, should you desire, but you’ll never reach the end of the road. Your main goal should be Lizard Rock, located south of Arni Village.
(The one spot you should visit The most interesting place to visit is Cape Howl, which is close to Lizard Rock. It’s a small region with only a handful of basic enemies. You can enter here to find a healing Element and a Bone. Both are helpful when you are starting.)
It’s the first dungeon of the entire game (Fort Dragonia doesn’t count). Lizard Rock is small and easy to navigate, and even if you didn’t bring Poshul, you should be fine dealing with local monsters. They are comprised of the following:
- Beach Bums – Blue Innate. Amphibious, oval-shaped creatures, Beach Bums, are a good choice for Elements to unleash on you if you let them, but they’re generally too slow to do much more than just attack. Start by removing these.
- Komodo Pups – Blue Innate. The Komodo pups you are hunting are quick but not strong, usually employing SquirtGun (if any moves are made)—no big deal.
- SandSquirts – Blue Innate. Small lizards accompany bigger, more powerful adversaries. Not a big deal at all.
Your objective at Lizard Rock will be to find and eliminate the three Komodo Pups. Each of them requires you to complete an easy puzzle and then try to chase down the Komodo Pup down.
Komodo Pup #1
First Komodo Pup is on the first screen of Lizard Rock. The Komodo Pup can run through a small tunnel to escape yours. Head south from the entrance to locate a FireballElement inside an unmarked chest in the back of the Beach Bum, and then follow this Komodo Pup north through the tunnel. At the southern end, there is a large rock that you can roll into the tunnel’s front, impairing the entrance. Turn around towards the north and follow it down. Komodo Pup inside to corner it. Do it to get your first Komodo Scale.
Komodo Pup #2
Second Komodo Pup is down the southeast path from the entry point into Lizard Rock, though it will be hiding whenever you come near it. Start by heading to the west and examining the rock in the Southwest corner of this region. You can push it down into the water to create an afghan that holds the silver Loupe climbing towards the surface.
Returning to the north, you’ll see a tree stump on a platform. Get on the stump, and walk north and out of the screen to the ledge, where a Beach Bum is hanging out. Then, jump to the shelf, take out the Beach Bum, and proceed south on the ridge back to the screen. There’s a jumping area that you can use to leap over the Komodo Pup as it walks across. Be sure to time your leap to not jump onto the Komodo Pup just as it’s beneath you will cause a missed. Enjoy your second Komodo Scale.
Komodo Pup #3
3. Komodo Pup is down the northwestern side of the second Komodo’s monitor. An extensive, looping track along with the Komodo Pup will try to beat you on this small circular track.
Check out the area before you head out to hunt for you find the Komodo Pup. There’s a small, tumbling waterfall to the southern part of the region, and to the left of it is a set of stairs that will lead you to the water. Walk under the bridge, and you’ll discover the chest containing a tablet Element just to the right. Then, go towards the north and turn left, passing over a small jump. The exit on the map is towards the northwest. Then towards the southwest is the appearance of a dead-end with a gap. Jumping through the hole to get into the island within the loop is possible. You’ll find an unopened chest that contains a bone. Take it out, and then go back into the water and explore the cave to the north, where you will find an undiscovered path leading to the ivory Helmet.
Return to the looping path that you started on. It is imperative to capture the Komodo Pup; despite the appearance, there’s no way to do this. You must pursue the dog down if you’re running counterclockwise along the route. This may be a failure initially. However, you’re slightly more agile than the lizard, and you’ll catch up with it in the end, as long as you don’t lose your speed. There are three scales from Komodo.
No matter which Komodo pup you kill at the end, you’ll be confronted by a Mama Komodo to complete the scavenger hunt.
Mama Komodo
A bigger version of the smaller Komodos that you’ve been fighting, this blue Komodo is a massive version. Mama Komodo is a humdrum for a boss that is a novice. She’s primarily an attack-oriented boss, but even though she does hit more heavily than other enemies at Lizard Rock, it’s unlikely that you’ll encounter much resistance, particularly if you have Poshul with you. Make sure you have a couple of Cure elements on Serge and heal as required. This Fireball Element you gathered earlier can do some serious damage in this fight.
You’ll be rewarded with 216 grams and a Fur (common drop) or a Tablet (rare drop) to defeat the Mama Komodo and some other common drops to defeat Komodo puppies in the initial phase of the fight.
Opassa Beach
If you go west out from Lizard Rock, from the screen where you had to pursue your Komodo Pup in circles, you’ll see Opassa Beach. If you’ve got the 3 Komodo Scales, Leena awaits you. She’ll ask you some questions. Select ‘I Remember”‘ and ‘We’ll forever remember this moment,’ and you’ll receive a reward further into the gaming. It looks like a lovely morning…
… for, at the very least until something catastrophically goes or goes horribly wrong. Serge (and possibly Poshul) is likely to be entangled to… something… then the moment they return to Opassa Beach, Leena will be gone. Weird.
Lizard Rock (Another World)
You’ll have to traverse Lizard Rock a second time, and when you do, you’ll encounter a new creature along with the old ones:
- Opah Fish – Red Innate. While they’re not very good at fitness, Opah Fish could wreck the team’s young players due to their numerous Red Innate attacks. Take them down using Blue Innate Elements before they can charge their more powerful Elements.
When you go to Lizard Rock, you’ll notice that some new things are in place of the previous ones. That’s handy. Go back and look in the same places as before to locate the Bone, an Ivory Helmet, a Feather, and the ivory Helmet.
When you’re finished After that, leave Lizard Rock via the northeastern route. This will return you to the map of the world—Trek to Arni Village.
Part 03: Arni Village (Another)
This Chrono Cross and Chrono Cross Remaster walkthrough will teach you to get Leena along with Mojo and defeat a string of bosses on Cape Howl.
Lizard Rock – Another World
Serge is left alone in the secluded Opassa beach, except for an older woman who lives in the same village. Oddly enough, she claims not to be aware of Surge. You must leave Opassa Beach and return to Arni Village. You will have to go across Lizard Rock again, but this time there are a variety of creatures. You can take the lower path. Be conscious that you will find some new items in the place where the previous ones were (Bone, Ivory Helmet). After you’ve finished, walk around the lower part (where the tree that fell was) and then back into Arni Village.
Arni Village – Another World
It is possible to find out through talking to the people around you who have no memory of Serge. Begin by going to your home and then finding it in the hands of another person. However, you should go upstairs and look behind the clutter to find the MagmaBomb component. After leaving home, you’ll be greeted by the angry resident who asks you to explain what you’re doing at his home. Then, look around the dining room (bottom right side of the town). The back room has an unopened curtain where the chest was home. Open it for a chance to grab a Tablet. It is important to talk with the girl in blue about poetry (this helps you later). After you have spoken to her, you need to talk at”the “pot” 4 times. When you reach the fourth time the person will reply and provide you with the IceLance element. The next stop you should make is the hut of Radius (left from the town where you enlisted Poshul), in which a man called Gonji is now living. The wall scroll contains a Tablet.
Then, go to her basement home (top right corner of the village). You’ll see her father in prayer to an angel. Be aware of this location; you’ll return in a few minutes. Head to the dock and chat with Leena before heading for Cape Howl.
Cape Howl – Another World
Continue climbing up the cliff. The treasure chests hold Bone along with the ElectroJolt element. Use the top exit to get into a graveyard and examine the gravestone. It appears that Serge has passed away in the alternate world. A group of “ghost hunters” soon seem to throw Poshul off the rock (if you had enlisted him) and attempt to capture you.
There’s nothing too complicated here. Make use of components that can be used to destroy all enemies like MagmaBomb. Also, you can try ElectroJolt for Karsh. The girl must steal using her Pilfer talent. Solt, as well as Pepper, are fools, and they go down fast.
After the battle, Leena (Kid) requests to join the party. You may decide to allow her to join, but this implies you’ll be able to say Leena will forever disappear from you during this game. Instead, turn her down three times now since you’ll get another chance to be able to recruit her in Termina. You’ll be taken home to Arni Village.
Arni Village – Another World
The next day, Leena appears at the Stockroom to wake you up.
Character Recruit – Leena & Poshul
If you didn’t accept Kid at the time of Cape Howl, Leena would automatically join your group. If you did not recruit Poshul back home, the gorgeous pink dog would also be joining Leena. If Kid is in your home, then Leena won’t join.
Character Recruit – Mojo
When you’ve had Leena with you, go back to Kiki’s house in the basement. In the cellar, she shows her father the Shark Tooth she got from the other person.
He becomes angry and demands that you remove the object. After he has spoken to you, take a walk out of the basement. The Mojo, the idol Mojo, will likely come back to life and join your celebration when you allow Mojo in.
Take a detour from the village to Termina towards the north. It is necessary to first travel through the Fossil Valley, which lies northeast of Arni Village, to reach the busy town.
Notification: You should first go to the Hydra Marshes, located just west of Arni Village, to pick up a few additional items.
